Target program participants come from our Therese Cervini Head Start Center, local churches/parishes, and local Hispanic community social centers. The project also provides crisis intervention and case managment to Hispanic expectant and new parents in crisis. |

Mommy & Me Community Maternity Services of Herkimer County provides case management services and support to pregnant and parenting women in Herkimer County with emphasis on prenantal and well-child care, parenting and child development, and one-on-one access to a breastfeeding specialist and counselor as well as a free breastfeeding classes. Case management services combined with formal home-based Parents as Teachers sessions are provided weekly or bi-weekly to mothers and their infants or children under the age of five. |
